Comment: Ex - USS David. W. Taylor ( DD 551 ). Commissioned for the US Navy on September 18th 1943. Reaconditioned at San Francisco, California, and transferred to the Spanish Navy on May 15th 1957, and sailed to Spain on July 1st 1957. Purchased by the spanish government on October 1st 1972.
