Comment: Ex - Guanabara, Ex - Albert Leo Schlageter. Acquired by the US Navy after WWII, then sold to Brazil in 1948. Sold again to Portugal in 1962. Sister ships are USCG´s Eagle, Germany´s Gorch Fock, Romania´s Mircea and Russian Tovarisch. Refitted and re-engined in 1992. In service since 1st February 1938.
