Military lift: Depends of the role. The docking well occupies 975 square meters, that can be used to transport vehicles instead of the normal load of 4 x LCM-1E plus 4/6 x SuperCat, or 1 x LCAC. The upper garage level is 2.046 square meters and will be used to transport light vehicles, the lower garage level is 1.400 square meters and will be used to transport heavy vehicles. Each level can store up to 6.000 tonnes.

Radar: Air Search: 1 x Indra Lanza-N, 3D, D band, 470km range; Navigation: 1 x Indra Aries NAV, X band; Air Traffic Control: 1 x Indra Aries PAR + 1 x Indra Aries SAAAS, X band.
Countermeasures: Decoys: 6 x Loral Hycor SRBOC Mk36 launchers for chaff and infrared flares. Provision for AN/SLQ-25 Nixie towed torpedo decoy. ECM/ESM: Indra Rigel, Indra Regulus Mk9500.
Helicopter: Up to 30, only carrying helicopters.
Aviation: Up to 10, when configured as aircraft carrier. The AV-8B+ will be the natural choice of use, but in the future it will be able to operate the VSTOL version of the JSF. One of the landing spots can handle one V-22 Osprey aircraft.

Comment: Currently under construction, delivery expected in April 2010. The flight deck is 201,9m x 32m and is served by two elevators, one at the extreme aft end, sized 13,3m x 13,6m, and the other to starboard of the flight path, forward of the island, sized 17m x 11,2m. Docking well is 69,3m x 16,8m.
