Comment: Requested the 6th of september 1984 as replacement for previous Sir Galahad, sunk at Bluff Cove, Falklands, on 8th june 1982, in an argentinian air attack. It is able to transport on both sides Mexeflote pontoons ( as in the photograph ). Transferred to the Brazilian Navy, renamed Garcia DŽAvila.
